Do I need to have my AltiGen System installed prior to the class?

No. Many students attend the AltiTraining class prior to their system installation to gain a better understanding of the AltiGen features and functionality so that they will be more knowledgeable in preparing for and completing their actual system installation. We highly recommend that all new customers attend the AltiTraining class in advance of their AltiGen installation being scheduled.

Do I need to be running the latest version of AltiGen software?

Although AltiTraining only teaches the latest software available, some students may wish to attend the class prior to upgrading. By completing the AltiTraining course, students can utilize the latest AltiGen software packages in a learning environment.

Who should attend the AltiTraining course?

Anyone who is responsible for the day-to-day administration of an AltiGen IP-PBX phone system or anyone who would like to learn more about the complete features, options and capabilities. The class is taught from an “application” standpoint rather than an “engineering” perspective, and all we ask as a prerequisite is that the student has a very basic understanding of computers, networking and telephone systems.

Where are the training courses held?

AltiTraining, LLC has a state-of-the-art facility in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado, just north of Denver. Our office is easily accessible from the Denver International Airport, and local hotel accommodations are available. A complete AltiGen training system is shared by a maximum of 2 students, and class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants to provide for personal interaction. In addition, Live Remote training is available for students who want to avoid the time and expense of traveling to our training center.

Can you travel to our site for the training?

Yes, but because of the additional cost of travel and shipping equipment, we would recommend our live remote training as a much more cost effective alternative. For information on all of options please Contact us.

What should I bring?

All you will need to bring is your willingness to learn. AltiTraining provides everything else.

How much does the course cost?

Tuition is $2,799 for the complete 4-day package. Tuition for the 3-day course is $2,199. This includes all training materials, snacks/refreshments, and a box lunch each day. Travel costs and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the student. An additional person from the same company may attend for a special package price. In order to be eligible for the discount, both students must attend the same training dates. Please contact us for special discounts and custom training programs for more than 3 people from the same company. There is a 15% discount for multiple students and multiple classes registered at the same time. See our pricing page for more information.

Can you suggest any local hotels?

Yes. We have a listing of recommended hotel accomodations.

How do I sign up?

Full payment by credit card is required at the time of registration. We are sorry but we cannot offer refunds for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the class.

What equipment and software do I need to participate in a live remote training class?

All you need is a workstation with internet access and a phone (preferably with speakerphone or headset capability) to call into our 800 number during the training session.

Is the live remote training as valuable as the class on site in Colorado?

The only part of the training you will miss by participating in a live remote session is the hands on equipment portion of the training. To some extent you can supplement this with your own in house phones and server if you have access to it during the training. Our trainers have supplemental training documentation to minimize the impact of not attending at our training facility in Colorado.

User Training - Live Remote
What live remote user training classes are available?

The bi-weekly scheduled classes are Phone Basics, VM Basics and MaxCommunicator. Click here for current schedule. Additional classes for Console, MaxAgent, MaxSupervisor, AltiReport, MaxCall, SuperUser, etc are scheduled as the demand dictates. Please contact us to check on any particular class availability and current pricing.
